Dear parents
and guardians,
Sinéad has
asked that all teachers stop giving written homework for the month of June.
Myself and Becky feel however that it’s really important to keep up the reading
practice over the last few weeks of Junior Infants. The boys and girls have
come on so much this year with their sounds, blending and tricky words and we
have decided to send home some decodable graded readers. Each child is getting
five books:
An ant and a
cat
A pup
A bag
Big Pig
Ken gets
wet!
You can keep
these books for the summer, and work on them over the next few weeks at your
leisure. Please return in September.
