Homework 9th - 13th October 2017

*** We please ask that you follow this homework plan night by night and do not skip ahead/ swap activites for different nights. In school this week we will cover ‘t’ on Monday and Tuesday and ‘i’ on Wednesday and Thursday.


Monday: ‘t’ worksheet (with tennis racket)
1.     Practice the letter formation for ‘t’ using the short chant to help. Please form good habits early by using the correct pencil grip. Thanks!

2.     Colour the picture of the tennis racket.

3.     Listen to and sing the Jolly Phonics ‘t’ song we learnt in school today. As you sing, practice the action for ‘t’. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gg_KvU5oc9Q

4.     Learn to recognise our tricky word of the week ‘he’. Revise 'the'. (See homework helpers sheet – Tricky Words.)


Tuesday: My Sounds Booklet pg. 3 - ‘t’
1.     Practice writing ‘t’ at the top.

2.     Draw or stick in pictures from a magazine/ newspaper that start with ‘t’ underneath.

3.     Sing the Jolly Phonics ‘t’ song and do the action. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gg_KvU5oc9Q

4.     Practice our tricky word of the week ‘he’. Revise 'the'.  (See homework helpers sheet – Tricky Words)
